The City of Morton has several industries which include: Koch Foods, Craft-Co Enterprises , Cox MHP, R&K Manufacturing, Morton Industries, and W.E. Blain and Sons.

Morton’s labor force is her greatest natural resource. Progress has not changed the commitment to doing a job well. People here work hard for themselves, their families, and their companies. The pride of the worker in Morton is evident, regardless of the occupation or degree of professional advancement. These hometown people have a strong work ethic. With a very low number of turnover of employees and exceptionally good attendance, there is an attitude among workers of mutual challenge and support.

As part of this Mid-Mississippi area, Morton is prime for new business. The strongest incentive for growth is the enthusiasm which permeates the entire community. Nowhere in the country can a community be found with a more positive attitude toward industy. City officials give enthusiastic assistance to new industries, whether locating a building or directing new industry through the whole location process. They are also eager to help existing industries to expand to create jobs for citizens.

As it has evolved to meet the challenge of the technological age, Morton has added twenty-first century technology to agriculturally-linked industries. Craft-Co Enterprises and Cox MHP manufacture high-tech products. The result is a favorable industrial climate in a city that eagerly welcomes new industries.

The City of Morton has 17 acres available at the present time in its existing industrial park located on the west end of town in the city limits. The city has approximately 200 acres on the east end of town available for industrial sites.
